Ed “Blind Dog” Conover
(Vocals, and Lead Guitar) ... is unlike any guitar player you have
ever seen. His ability to play soul wrenching blues riffs a la B.B. King,
or knock you off your seat with Jimi Hendrix’s like, mind jarring power,
has to be seen. Ed has three Solo Albums out in the Native American music
genre, where Ed is regarded as a very talented Native American flute
player. Ed also has been teaching Guitar since the 1980’s (his students
get it).
Jason “Blue Jay”
Odegaard (Bass) ... has become a force as a bass player. He is the
only original member of the group remaining with Ed. Jason is the quiet
one with the band. His uses his five string bass for solos, as well as
providing a strong foundation.
Mark “Lightning Boy”
Erney (Guitar and Vocals) ... is a rhythm guitar player second to no
one. His guitar playing is so good sometimes you can't tell if it’s Ed or
Mark playing. This band is fortunate to have some one with Mark’s
intelligence, leadership, and his new found singing voice.
Louie “The Wrench”
Caamano (Harp) ... is an enigma; he has been journeyman Harp player
for 35 years. His Dominican heritage brings a passion to his harp playing
that mesmerizes his audience. His rugby background enables him to have
boundless energy. All of these components combine to enable Louie to be
the crown pleaser that he is.
Mark “Tom Pounder”
Weaver (Drums) ... was twelve years old when he got his first snare
drum . This event led him to choose drumming as his life long passion. As
student of the late William Schinstine, Mark learned a multitude of
drumming techniques and styles. Because Mark joined the Eddie Bluestone
Band , they have able to include Led Zeppelin covers to their repertoire,
as well as, a Third original set. The blues, funk, jazz and rock music of
Bluestone, is now driven by a monster drummer, Mark Weaver.
Together, the individuals above make up a dynamic Blues band that has
power and
beauty, along with gentleness and strength.
